2011 Group Leaders, and our first Group Leader in Training

NYA is proud to announce our first Alumni Group Leader in Training, and our other Group Leaders too!

NYA is very happy to announce that we are able to send Murina Sabourin, an alumna from Fort Providence, NWT, as our first ever Group Leader in Training. Murina completed the Canadian Program in 2006, International Program in 2007 and since has graduated high school, and pursued a number of leadership opportunities offered by the Canadian Armed Forces, including the Raven Program and the Aboriginal Leadership Opportunity Year. Murina will travel with one of the 2011 International Teams, where she will have the opportunity to act as a role model for this years participants, while furthering her own growth as a young leader.

Murina will be joined by our other 2011 Group

Leaders; Cara Cormier, Shane Thompson, Melanie Dostie-Allaire, and Levi Eegeesiak.
