Hi my name is Waylon Simba, I come from Kakisa Lake, N.W.T. I am staying in Sooke, B.C on Vancouver island, I am staying with my host buddy Japiti and my host family, Bruce & Sue Ferrie. I am having a great time doing lots of different things like riding a bus all day.
I volunteer for a day camp program with kids that have special needs. We do lots of different things. This week we went swimming, tried crab fishing, went to Sooke potholes, visited Sidney, Which is about an hour from Sooke and went to the Shaw Discovery Center.
I've been to a bunch of movies, seen a couple of 3-D ones. Tried different kinds of Foods, some I liked and some I didn't.
I've seen lots of shopping malls and different stores. Some prices are cheaper but then there's HST Taxes, which make things cost more.
The thing I like the best so far is having Free time after work and seeing new things. This weekend we are going to see the B.C Provincial Museum in downtown Victoira.
